Wave painting, part 1

This is the start of a wave acrylic painting I just started with palette knives. After this I'm adding a thick clear, pouring medium layer, which will make it look like it is under water.

  1. I love the colors and the movement in this. I can hardly wait to see it with the clear coat. You are so amazing the way you try so many different media. You have a great eye for color, and I love the experimentation with texture. Fantastic.

  2. Thank you very much, your comments are so kind. The clear coat has been giving me some trouble and crazing, little cracks and such, which is not as bad as it could be due to the heavy texture of the acrylic being able to hide the crazing. I really appreciate your input, and I am glad you enjoy my work. I am obsessed with texture, it makes it feel more original to me, due to the high number of paper prints that are out there, this makes me feel like I am offering something authentic, though I can appreciate flat pieces as well. I'm excited you like my color combinations, as I am quite a visually oriented person, so compliments in that area mean quite a lot.
