Here is a tip I was showing my brother yesterday during the car ride on how to improve creativity and think in new ways. I used to do this is school a lot, during my free time. You close your eyes, draw a pile of scribbles, then open your eyes and look for lines that create a monster. You can use as little or as many lines in the scribble, just outline some to start your monster, then add some other lines to finish it. This is sometimes how I come up with new monster ideas, and to stretch my imagination. These are my brother's and some of my monster scribble sketches.
