Here is another painting I altered hue-wise in photoshop. I am a fan of really intense visual stimulation, so bright colors are very enjoyable for me to look at. I was thinking of making prints of some of my work, and photoshop would be a great way to make different color pictures of my work. I love the many options that I can do to a finished painting. Just when I think I am running out of new things to do, a whole new art door opens. Stay tuned for more photoshop visuals.....

I have been experimenting a bit with photoshop for the first time in years. I took a painting I had already done in reds and changed the hues. Any preferences?

Abstract sky painting

This was a really fun painting to do. It started with multiple layers of watercolor paints. I then added a self-leveling gel layer, which was colored with alcohol inks. The inks mixed together together to make a dark purple color, which I then scraped bits of off to let the previous layers shine through. I then added a bit of polyester glitter, which stuck to the few spots of gel that were still sticky. This painting sold at an art show to a painter friend.

This pendant was made with polymer clay and found objects. It is an octopus, and in a slight steampunk style.

This pendant was done with polymer clay and found objects. Metallic powder was added for extra color. It is a steampunk turtle, and was sold as a christmas present.

Abstract tentacle monster painting

This was one of the largest paintings I did, as I normally work with 16 by 20 or 16 by 24. I don't remember the size, but I had trouble fitting it on my table. It is a bush monster, that was painted with acrylic paints, brushes and palette knives. It is a monster that sold at an art show.

This painting was done with acrylic paints and palette knives. I also used some paints directly out of the tube, with no brushes or knives. The texture was added with paint thickener.

Abstract painting

This painting was bought by another manager of an old job I worked at. It was an abstract tornado-esk painting done with acrylic paints and self-leveling gel.

Sunset painting

This painting was commissioned by an a manager of a place I used to work. She asked me to combine two photographs, one of the sunset, and one of her riding a jet ski. This was an interesting piece to do, not really my style, but she liked it so that's what matters
